Hello friends,

Just a short post today, to touch base and acknowledge the symbology, the sense of completion that today’s full moon brings. And as this full moon is also a total lunar eclipse, let’s watch out for subtle or grand changes in our lives that have the potential to usher in our evolution.

I do like to be punctual with the astrology, and my example is possibly quite extreme – not all of us will have packed up our lives and ferried them (literally) across choppy waters to an old, yet also new land.

But perhaps, if you take a moment, you’ll notice a sense of completion in some area of your life.

Perhaps, if you take a moment, you’ll recognise the early impulses nudging you towards change that could significantly impact your whole life.

As we know, all change requires us to grow, and our small, incremental steps form the foundation for our evolution.

So, for this past month, I’ve been closing circles. It’s been very practical, dismantling my home, distributing those belongings that could not travel with me, attending immigration offices, downloading forms, packing up the car.

Like a spider drawing in and digesting the silks of my old web, I’ve revisited and drawn in the nutrients from many friendships, human and non-human alike, taking them into my heart, holding them there, so that I can invoke their soothing memories at those times when, inevitably the pang of loss will strike.

And I’ve consciously engaged in some deep ancestral healing practices, believing, as indigenous cultures do that the healing we undertake ripples back through 7 generations and forward, 7 generations to come. On this energetic level, closing the circle means that “the buck stops here”. Rather than continuing to play out unhelpful patterns, I am choosing, time and time again, to transmute, rather than repeat them.

With this phrase, Closing the Circle in mind, I was offered the opportunity to create a rose mandala, in a beautiful woodland setting at La Flor del Agua – the Asturian rose farm where I spent much of last year.

Please, take a while to gaze at the image of the mandala.

How does it speak to your heart?

Be joyful, be safe, be well
